This case was loosely based off the Deadlands Noir Savage Tale “The Axeman Cometh”. I re-did the intro because I wanted to tie it into one of the character’s (Ada) and I was pleasantly surprised at how enthusiastically the group dropped the case they were still working to jump on this.
There are a number of things that have happened during the sessions that this case covered, some are changes that I have tried to make the game run a bit smother. This was probably the most focused case that we played which was kind of nice (it only took us about 4 1/2 sessions to get through it). One thing that I am learning about this group is how easily they can get distracted by other things going on in the game. This string of sessions for this case definitely had its highs and lows.
